About the role

Weave designs immersive audio experiences for museums, cultural destinations, conventions, venues, events, training programs, and brand activations. This role is for a relationship-driven sales person who understands how institutions and event teams evaluate new guest experiences.

The right person can speak credibly with museum leaders, education teams, visitor experience teams, convention producers, sponsors, creative agencies, and venue operators. They can identify where Weave fits, explain the value without overpromising, and help prospective clients understand what it takes to create a polished real-world experience.

What you would do

  • Build and manage a pipeline of qualified museums, cultural institutions, convention organizers, venues, agencies, and event partners.
  • Lead discovery conversations that clarify audience needs, operational constraints, budgets, timelines, and decision-making processes.
  • Translate Weave's creative and technical capabilities into clear proposals for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Work with the creative and production team to scope opportunities before they become commitments.
  • Represent Weave at industry events, conferences, museum gatherings, conventions, and partner meetings.
  • Maintain thoughtful follow-up with prospects, partners, and referral sources.
  • Help identify repeatable markets, packages, case study opportunities, and strategic partnerships.

Useful background

  • Sales, partnerships, business development, or account leadership in museums, cultural destinations, events, conventions, visitor experience, creative technology, or experiential production.
  • Familiarity with how museums, campuses, venues, conferences, or public-facing institutions make purchasing decisions.
  • Ability to understand creative services, custom production, and technology-enabled experiences.
  • Strong written communication, consultative selling, and comfort with long-cycle relationship development.
  • Enough curiosity about audio, storytelling, interaction design, education, game mechanics, and guest experience to explain Weave's work with care.

Working style

This role could be remote, based in Boston, or partly on site with partners and clients around the world. Some work is quiet and relationship-driven. Some work happens in person at museums, conventions, venues, conferences, and partner sites.

Weave needs sales conversations to be honest, useful, and grounded. The goal is not to push a generic product. The goal is to find the right opportunities for immersive audio experiences and help clients understand what is possible.
